Deborah Stabler Lakeview Christian School Retirement
Mrs. Deborah Stabler is retiring from her teaching responsibilities through Lakeview On Campus classes, Classical Conversations, and from being the Administrator of Lakeview Christian School for the last 30+ years. She will also be retiring from teaching Sunday School in the Lakeview Children's Department. As you can see, Mrs. Stabler has many gifts and she has generously used them to serve God and bless so many families over the years! Now it is time for her to serve her family in ways that only she can.
We want to make sure that you are aware of some opportunities to share in being a blessing to Mrs. Stabler. We will hold a retirement reception in her honor on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7 PM in the fellowship hall at Lakeview Baptist Church after the evening worship service.
In preparation for this time, you may participate in several ways, including sending cards, letters, essays, photographs, and gifts. (Please see Ways to Participate for details.)
We hope that you will be able to join us in honoring Mrs. Deborah Stabler in one or more of these ways.

Send Card/Letter
Meredith Ferreira will be collecting cards and letters to give to Mrs. Stabler in a keepsake box made by one of her current students at the reception. If you would like to mail a card or letter, please mail it by July 31, 2024, to:

Submit Essay
If your student has a favorite essay written while she or he was in Mrs. Stabler’s class, please email it in PDF format by July 7, 2024, to Heather Martin at HeatherMartin99@gmail.com to be included in a bound keepsake book for Mrs. Stabler.
Submit Photographs
If you have any photographs that could be included in a slideshow to be shown during the reception on the big screens and given to Mrs. Stabler to keep, please upload them to this Google Drive by June 30, 2024: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19-fRt6WXfJ0mKYyAUijiM8fm0vT9sxYQ?usp=drive_link.
Please submit high resolution photos.
Sara Knox will be putting the slide show together. She requests, "I'm looking for photos which take up MBs, not KBs. If the photo is in the 4032x3024 px range, then it will be pleasant to look at when it's on a large screen in the fellowship hall during the reception. If a photo is very small or has low resolution, I probably won’t be able to use it because it will be blurry when blown up on the big screens.” To make this process smoother, please check the resolution of your photos before uploading them.
Gifts
Lastly, your presence at the reception is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift to help cover ongoing travel and medical expenses associated with Steve's treatment. You may include a gift in your card that's mailed to Meredith and it will be given to the Stablers or personally delivered to them. We want to try to avoid having money sitting in their mailbox as they are expecting to be traveling a good bit.
